Sporting Shotgun Chokes, Patterning And Envelope Shooting

On July 17th I will be holding a clinic on sporting shotgun chokes, patterning and performance envelopes. This clinic will cover finding your shotgun's effective choke patterns and establishing their best performance envelope (maximum and minimum most effective range).

Based off the tactical shotgun zone method, you will have a working knowledge of when to change chokes, selecting the proper choke, and when to leave them alone. This is most beneficial to single barreled autos and pumps.

This is not the standard 30 yard/30 inch circle patterning. 3 points-of-aim/points-of-impact will be
identified. Non-concentric chokes will be identified. Effects of different manufactured ammo will be
covered.

Equipment Requirements:

Limited to 12 participants.

Larry Lee will have lunch available. (Please advise if you are considering Lee's lunch).

Clinic Cost $10

Setup 08:00

Clinic: 09:00 - ?? ( Trap range will be opened at the conclusion of the clinic for those who desire to test their new found knowledge. $0.20/per clay. $2.50/per trap round.)

Estimated clinic duration 2-3 hours.

This is open to members and non-members.
