Tactical Shotgun – Performance Zones

On July 31st I will be holding a clinic on tactical shotgun zones. This clinic will cover establishing the
“A”, “B” and “C” zones for individual tactical shotguns. Understanding these zones is critical in
understanding when and how to use a tactical shotgun as a precision weapon and when using buckshot
is an asset or a liability.

Learn to analyze and select the most advantageous projectile for a given situation.

Equipment Requirements:

• Eyes & Ears
• Tactical shotgun
• Sidesaddle, butt-cuff and/or other ammunition holders.
• Approx 50+ rounds of buckshot.
• Approx 10 rounds bird-shot (7 ½)
• Approx 20 rounds slugs. (Include extras if you plan to shoot after or desire to work on specific issues).
• Sling (Optional)

If possible, include a mix of manufacturer in your ammunition cache.

Larry Lee will have lunch available. (Please advise if you are considering Lee's lunch).

Prerequisite:

This is not a clinic on learning to shoot a tactical shotgun. All participants are expected to have and demonstrate a clear understanding in the safe operation and handling of their tactical shotgun.

This is open to members and non-members.
