Sporting Shotgun – Reading Clay Targets

On July 24th I will be holding a clinic on sporting shotgun clay targets. This clinic will cover reading
the flight patterns of the following clay targets:

1) Crossers
2) Quartering
3) Straightaways
4) Incomers
5) Rising
6) Falling
7) Specialty

Learn to read, analyze and select the most advantageous target engagement area.

Additional areas covered will be proper body positioning and how to address issues which restrict
where a clay target can be engaged.

Equipment Requirements:

• Eyes & Ears
• Any sporting shotgun with fixed or changeable chokes. Any gauge. (You can use a tactical shotgun but will be very challenging.)
• Approx 100+ rounds. (Include extras if you plan to shoot after or desire to work on specific issues).
  

Limited to 12 participants.

Larry Lee will have lunch available. (Please advise if you are considering Lee's lunch).

Clinic Cost $10 + .20/per clay. Total cost of clays will be divided equally among all participants.
All participants will be shooting targets.

Setup 08:00

Clinic: 09:00 - ?? ( Trap range will be opened at the conclusion of the clinic for those who desire to test their new found knowledge. $0.20/per clay. $2.50/per trap round.)

Estimated clinic duration 3-4 hours.

This is open to members and non-members.
