3D Threat Indicator
Some training and shooting sports use threat indicators on cardboard targets to differentiate bad guys from good guys. Below is an easy way to make a 3 dimensional cardboard gun. The cardboard gun can be painted and then stapled to the target. This gives a more realistic view of a gun to the shooter. In fact the 3 dimensional gun is a bit harder to recognize than the traditional spray painted 2 dimensional gun indicator.
The plans are free for non-commercial use and is offered with no warranty or other claims expressed or implied. Ken Reed, 09/30/2001.

Two 3 dimensional cardboard guns are visible in this IDPA stage.
