3-Gun Cart

After studying as many gun carts as possible over several years, a 3-Gun cart made from a double baby jogger seemed the best for my uses.  A baby jogger is the big wheeled baby stroller used to take a baby along for a good run.  They are sturdy, roll very easily and they collapse enough to put into a small automobile trunk.  Shopping E-Bay netted a slightly used double jogger for $65 plus $15 shipping, which is a great deal since they are roughly $250 new.

Most 3-Gun carts made from baby joggers use the original baby seats to hold shooting bags and the long guns are attached to the side frames with ATV rifle mounts.  To accommodate four or more long guns, mounted vertically, all the fabric had to go, and custom shelves need to be made from aluminum.

This is a work in progress.  The parts that need added to the frame are designed but not built yet, so standby.

This idea is free for non-commercial use and is offered with no warranty or other claims expressed or implied.  Ken Reed, 02/04/2007.

Here is one of the best parts, it collapses easily, and the wheels

Making the curved ends of the perimeter has been the toughest part yet.
