Holster 2

Since holster 1 was an unqualified success, albeit a bit ugly, my next quest was to get this holster design made by a real holster maker.  First I tried Milt Sparks, since they are local and make unparalleled quality holsters.  But Tony advised me that his company was very busy making their standard holsters and could not take on custom work.  What happened next was a happy coincidence.  A boot maker in Texas wanted one of my RRT targets and we worked out a trade.  She hand made the holster shown below for me and I shipped a metallic purple RRT target to Texas.  I was doubly surprised when the holster also came with a hand made custom gun belt and mag pouches.  I have only worn this holster twice however, since it is now my BBQ rig.  It is too pretty to wear every day.  Ken Reed 10/02/2001
