California Competition Works Shotgun Shell Holder Modification

I like the California Competition Works shotgun shell holders for 3-gun games.  However it is very hard to bend over when using these shell holders, since quite a bit of the holder is below the belt.  The pictures below show a modification to the shotgun shell holder, that allows bending over while wearing the shell holder.

The back of the unmodified shell holder, note 2" is below the belt.

 
Belt loop inverted and moved down 1/2", note nothing is below the belt. 

Left is the original, right is the inverted belt loop.

Ready to attach the spring hold down plate using the original screw holes.

The finished modification, strong fast and easy to move around with.

Quite a difference when worn on the body.
