Skateboard Moving Target

A moving target is big fun to shoot, adds a bit of challenge and realism to action-shooting sports like IDPA.  This one is a skateboard mover with an all steel skateboard.  The skateboard runs on inline-skate wheels and is given a shove at the beginning of its run by a launcher mechanism.  This makes it's movement very quick.

Charging dogs are a very small fast target.

The target is not available to the shooter until movement starts.

The target is charging, but is almost at your feet.

Target hides at the end of the run.

The target is slowed gently and captured.

The skateboard is being pulled back into the launcher by the loader arms.

The skateboard is trapped by the sear, and ready for launch.  Eight springs at the ready.

The two twelve foot pieces of ramp are aligned and joined by the overlapping square tubing.
