Skateboard Mover For Indoors

This is a traditional skateboard mover, made specifically for indoor matches.  A real skateboard runs down a short ramp to gain speed, and then runs along the floor of the indoor shooting range.  How far up the ramp the skateboard is started determines its speed across the floor.  This is a simple design with a wooden ramp and a steel target holder and release mechanism.

A good friend and I have divided up the work.  Bruce is making the ramp, and I have made the metal parts.

This is a work in progress, and the ramp is not made yet, so there are lots of things to check out.  Standby for more updates.

The plans are free for non-commercial use and is offered with no warranty or other claims expressed or implied.  Ken Reed, 08/21/2007.

The finished target holder.  This bolts down through the top of the skateboard and is
secured with the wing nut.  It provides a way to attach the target lath, and dumb bell
weights to the skateboard.  It can pivot to allow a charging target or a lateral movement.
