Custom Zipper Pull
Sometimes shooting bags and other items have a zipper handle that is hard to grasp, especially in the cold or when wearing gloves. The zippers on my shooting bags will probably loosen up, but right now I needed a better way to grip them. It occurred to me that a piece of 45ACP brass would work great. The following pix are of such a zipper pull. If you have several shooting bags that all look the same as I do, this is also a way to differentiate them. I plan on using 45ACP, 5.56mm, .308 and 12ga empties.
