The Parma Precision Rifle Rumble Presented by Burris Optics is back for its 8th year! \nThe Parma Precision Rifle Rumble is part of the Precision Rifle Series (PRS) Pro Series. Parma Precision Rifle matches are held every month at Parma Rod and Gun Club (PGRC)\, Southern Idaho’s Unrivaled Premier shooting facility just 30 minutes outside of Boise! With over 150 acres of privately owned land we are able to offer a variety of both square range and natural terrain firing positions stretching over 900 yards across our long-range rifle firing line. PRGC offers a great venue for new and experienced shooters alike. Shooters of all skill levels are welcome to attend\, especially those new to the sport and a willingness to learn. We strive to design stages that challenge shooters with a balance of target size\, distance\, and firing position/order yet provide competitors with a fair chance to hit every target. We believe that a stage should be skill based and avoid any “gimmicky” or luck-based elements. We rarely incorporate any kind of gear restrictions into our COF\, preferring to design our stages so that they can be approached with several different types of equipment and be successful without lending advantage to one style throughout the COF as a whole. \nMatch Fee is $285.00 and includes\, hot meals and snacks both days\, bottled water at each stage\, and a special surprise for each shooter. A large portion of each match fee goes to our match Range Officers to thank them for all their hard work and volunteering their time to make sure this is a premier event that shooters will always remember. Please be sure to thank them during the match! \nA staple of the Parma Precision Rifle Rumble is our awesome on-site kitchen providing hot meals both days of the match with our famous slow smoked Tri-tip sandwiches on Sunday! \nLodging:\nThere are several hotels within 30 minutes of the match location with the closest located in Ontario\, Oregon only 15 minutes from the range with nicer accommodations and restaurant selections in Nampa or Meridian Idaho 30 minutes the other direction. Dry camping is allowed on the range for $25 per camper\, per night\, but space is limited to 15 spots so please email lammbn@gmail.com to reserve your spot. There are also several hook up type camping facilities nearby. \nMatch COF will be 20 stages with a round count of no more than 225. Bring additional rounds for zero and distance check. \nThe match schedule is as follows: \nFriday May 15th \n1pm-5pm Match Registration & zero at Parma Rod and Gun Club – Parma\, ID \nFamous Parma rimfire side stage with tons of prizes! DESCRIPTION:Location: Parma\, ID \n2 Gun on the 4th Saturday in Parma. Plan on 4-5 stages with about 10-12 rounds per gun per stage. Setup at 0800\, be on time to help setup and stay around to tear down. \nIgnore shotgun portion for 2 gun. \nScoped Tactical—Rifle has one magnified optic on it. Can have a muzzle brake\, can use extended mags and drum mags\, can have only one optic on it\, back up irons ok. Pistol can use extended mags up to 140mm\, cannot have muzzle break or optics. Shotgun must start stage with 8+1 rounds\, after start can hold more. No box fed shotguns and no optics or muzzle brakes. \nLimited—all Guns same as Scoped Tactical\, except rifle may only have a 1x red dot or iron sights. \nOpen—Race division. All the guns can have optics\, muzzle brakes\, extended mags\, mag fed shotguns\, rifles can use bipods and or bags. Bags must start attached to the rifle. \n2×4—super open. Adds a 4th gun\, the PCC. Same rules as open\, can use optics\, extended mags\, etc\, etc\, Must use at least 2 guns on every stages\, if there are clays they must be shot with shotgun. \nModern Optics-Designed to land between Open and Scope Tac. Pistol: Holster rules are the same as for Tactical/Limited/HM (i.e. no race holsters). Use whatever pistol you want\, so long as the pistol with your longest magazine inserted fits in the official box with slide parallel to the top of the box. The maximum internal dimensions of this box are 9” x 7” x 2”. Rifle: Use whatever rifle and optics you want. A bipod is allowed\, but not bags or other support devices. Only 30 round magazines may be used. Coupled 30 round mags ok. Shotgun: Only a tube magazine is allowed\, and the magazine tube must be no longer than 24”measured from the front of the receiver. Loading must be by hand from caddies (i.e. no speed loaders).
